Kate Stowell is President and Co-Founder of Intelysource Inc., a woman-owned small business and is an Alaska Native descendant. Kate began her career as a US Navy Nurse Corps Officer where she served in many leadership and critical care positions. She received her commission in 2006 and has since served as a Department Head at Marine Corps Base Quantico, a Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist and Service Chief at the National Naval Medical Center (now Walter Reed National Military Medical Center), and Division Officer at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
Throughout her many assignments with the United States Navy, Kate’s leadership and work ethic have focused on the importance of ingenuity, innovation, and tenacity in finding solutions for the toughest problems. Her success in leading and motivating high-performing teams and demanding programs give her unique insight into helping people come together to achieve a shared goal. Flexibility and adaptation in a rapidly evolving landscape, while staying true to core values, is at the heart of how Kate approaches daily operation and long-term strategy development.
As Co-Founder and President of Intelysource, Kate manages the firm’s day to day operations, is responsible for business development, client management, and deployment of the firm’s resources to address client projects. She also serves as the firm’s chief advisor for our healthcare practice.
Kate holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the top-ranked Rush University DNP program in Chicago. She is also board certified as a Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist.
